"How can I put together a cost effective web site quickly, effectively yet maintain a professional image?"

If you want to be taken seriously as a coach you need to have a well designed, professional looking web site.It's as simple as that.

Looking at a website is no different to looking at a shop window - some are more inviting than others, some draw the customer in for a better look, some turn off the customer right away and some sell the customer without the blink of an eye.

As a coach that gets 80% of his business through the web I have a very good understanding of what sells and what doesn't on the web.

This includes web design, sales copy and products.

ome sites are well designed and would appeal to fellow web designers but it's not them you are trying to sell to!!!

Some of the coaches I know are awesome coaches, without doubt. Yet they do not even get 1 sale from their website.

Marketing on the web is tricky, I am lucky to have mastered it and indeed I run a very successful online marketing business.

It keeps my wife in the style she is accustomed to!

So how much should you pay for a website?

Well, if you are paying a designer from scratch you could be looking at $700+.

Of course you could do it yourself but it is very time consuming!

But you CANNOT compromise on quality.

I would say that 90% of the coaching sites out there are about as useful as a chocolate teapot!!!!

They are poorly put together and THEY DO NOT SELL!

My # 1 objective when putting a site together is to SELL.

Nothing more nothing less.

So remember - when putting your site together make sure that you set it up so that that it is easy to use and that it converts browsers into buyers!

After all - you need to put food on the table right?!
