Inhale Love, Exhale Forgiveness

Love is an essential part to building a greater, safer, more welcoming community with yourself and others. What is inspiring is the abundance that it is available in. It is shown in all religions, cultures, communities, families, friends - so why is it so special? Have you experienced it?

Its a feeling like no other. Bringing warm smiles to the faces of others by sharing love, warmth, kindness, gratitude, etc cultivates immense happiness. Over the last few weeks, I spent some time pondering on the title of this newsletter before embarking on creating it. I strived to enter the safest and most sacred place (within) to help engulf all the love around me and get the energy to give forgiveness.. To do this, I created a short reflective piece. Try it to experience this great feeling...

  1. Take some time to go to that sacred and safe place within yourself.
  2. Get comfortable and begin relaxing all the parts of your body.
  3. With each breath breathe in loving thoughts and good feelings. On each exhale breathe out all your fears, your hurts, your worries and concerns, knowing that you are forgiving all for anything that has caused you hurt.
  4. Breathing in and out slowly, breathe in all the love and peace and joy, until you feel yourself lifting lighter and freer...
  5. Begin to imagine the person who has harmed you in any way.
  6. Examine as much as you can from this elevated state. Be still and silent. Be still and know thyself. Allow the answers to reveal themselves.
  7. When you are feeling complete in the exercise, slowly bring back all your awareness and the good feelings and thoughts you are having.
  8. Acknowledge your gratitude as you become fully present in the moment.
  9. Nurture yourself in this sacred, loving space you have created for yourself and bring it outwards to share with others.

A Chocolate-Less Year

2004 continues to be a successful year through accomplishing various goals, even the goal of not eating chocolate for one whole year - not a health route, just a test of the willpower! How many people could manage that, especially when they love their chocolate and enjoy at least one bar a day.

I take this opportunity to wish you all the best during the autumn and beginning of winter - the time we have from now till the end of this wonderful year. Perhaps consider taking some time out, even just five minutes, to ponder of the year so far, and how you can make the remaining time the best for you...

Free Your Mind

Our mind is a vital part of us and must function well in order for us, as humans, to work well. This is where the brain co-ordinates our activities and sends messages to the rest of our body. If our mind is busy, full, unhappy, tired, etc its not able to pay full attention where needed and doesn't gives it full potential. What does one do at this point? How about clearing the minds "clutter" and making space so that its able to enjoy life whilst concentrating and paying full attention where required.

Are you underperforming, or not doing as well as you can? Are there various thoughts obstructing your flow in work? If so, maybe it's because your mind is "clogged" up and not able to work straight... Why not 'clear the mind's clutter' with these ten tips. Get those tips now!
