Ever
been excited? Of course you
have! An excited state is just
that - a state! If you have
experienced it once, you can
experience it whenever you want.
One of the keys to achieving
this is to relive that state
or recreate it as such. The
way we change state is to do
with the way we use our physiology
- our body. Follow this, and
get into that excited state
whenever you need to - it's
as easy as that!
Remember
a time when you were truly excited.
It could be a birthday, winning
a competition, getting married,
the birth of a child, a job
promotion, a holiday or whatever.
Really think of that event.
Experience it. Imagine it is
happening now. What does it
feel like? What do you see?
What sounds are there? How were
you breathing? How was your
posture?
Really
associate to that event - this
event! How much energy do you
have? Is there a tingling in
your body? What colours do you
see? Are they bright? Intensify
this experience! Picture yourself
as if it is happening now. See
the world around you in this
excited state.
How
do you feel? What words would
you use to describe this excited
state? Intense... powerful...
energised... passionate... ecstatic...exhilarated...
Say these words out loud. Add
your own to the list.
Most
importantly, what word or movement
would remind you of this state?
When you want to feel excited
again, you can access this state
rapidly by using a movement
and sound. For example when
you are in the peak feeling
of the moment, clap your hands,
yell out YES! YES! YES! Or do
something that makes sense to
you, something you can easily
remember.
Test
this out some time today. If
you are lacking a bit of energy
and want to feel excited, clap
your hands the way you practiced
and say YES! YES! YES! With
the same intensity and re-access
that state.
Remember,
you can do this with any state
you wish to experience. The
list is only limited to the
states you can experience.
